Charity Challenge is still our number one fundraiser, raising thousands of dollars each year for Dreamflight. This year’s event will be held May 15, 2010 at the Citrus Bowl in Orlando. If you are planning to volunteer please let us know so that we can give the organizers an approximate number of Dreamflight volunteers. Once again we receive money from Charity Challenge based on participation during the event, ticket sales, sponsorships and team solicitation. If you would like more tickets for this year’s drawing please let me know. Remember that checks must be made out to Dreamflight, USA.
Any team that did not participate last year is open for recruitment by any charity. Hotel, motel, apartment complexes, hospitality restaurants/bars can all become teams. Dreamflight can get half of the sign up fee if a new team signs up and chooses us as their charity. If you or someone you know is in the hospitality industry or lives in an apartment, ask them to get a team together and write “Dreamflight” in as their charity.
Soliciting Sponsorships will also give Dreamflight money. We will receive a minimum of 50% of the sponsorship fee depending on the level. All they need to do is designate “Dreamflight” as their charity on their sponsor form. With just one or two teams and sponsors we could double our money this year.

Albertsons Community Partners Card
Like their Preferred Shopper Card (discontinued), the Albertsons Community Partners Card can be used as a way to raise money for DreamFlight simply by using it every time you shop at Albertsons. Through the Albertson’s Community Partners program, Albertson’s will donate a percentage of purchases made by anyone displaying this card. This is NOT limited solely to people who are actively involved with Dreamflight. ANYONE can become a supporter by registering under our organization.
In order to receive credit for our purchases you simply present your Community Partners card when making a purchase at any Albertsons. The amount of your purchase is automatically recorded and credited to Dreamflight’s fund. At the end of each quarter, all transactions made by our members using the cards are totaled and, based on the total purchases, a percentage will be awarded to us. The greater the total purchases the larger our percentage will be.

Remember anyone is eligible to support Dreamflight as long as they are linked to our account so talk to your friends, family, and co-workers. They can all be supporting Dreamflight while they shop.
Don't miss another one of our big fund-raising events, the Annual BACC George's Day Charity Golf Tournament. It is held at Celebration Golf Club (701 Golfpark Dr
Kissimmee) and will begin with an 8am Shotgun Start.
